Teresa Fisher

Teresa Fisher

The Registered Manager is Teresa Fisher, who is a Registered Mental Nurse. Teresa’s background is in Acute Psychosis and Dementia. Teresa has worked in the healthcare industry for over 20 years. She trained at John Moore’s University, Liverpool, then worked in forensics, learning disabilities, theatres, acute settings, nursing homes and private hospitals.

Teresa took her first management role in 2010 and progressed to registration with the CQC in 2013, since then Teresa has established herself in the local area as a manger of strong professional repute, Teresa is committed to developing staff teams to deliver the best possible care that can be provided. Teresa leads from the front and ensures that residents are receiving the highest Quality of care through a commitment of truly personalised care, transparency and openness in practice and investment in the continuous professional development of her staff team.

Teresa believe every client deserves quality care with fully family engagement alongside person centred approaches.

Allison Street

Allison Street

Facilities Manager Allison started at Wemys’s Lodge in 2008 as House Keeper before becoming Head of House Keeping and then working her way up to her current position as Facilities Manager. She wears many hats including Infection Control, Health and Safety and having responsibility for the Maintenance Team and Contractors. She has seen much growth and change and is proud to have been part of a proactive team that has taken many positive steps over the years to help Wemys’s Lodge achieve the highest standards of care and continue to be a wonderful place for residents and staff alike.

Rebecca Stockley

Rebecca Stockley is a qualified RLDN (Registered Learning Disability Nurse) and obtained her registration in 2005 at Birmingham University. Rebecca Started her career in a high dependency brain injury unit before moving into nursing for Dementia Clients requiring specialised nursing skills for challenging behaviours. Rebecca has been a support nurse within the nursing community in Birmingham supporting those clients with high level learning disabilities and challenging behaviours. In 2009 Rebecca transitioned into working in care homes and has had various roles looking after the aged population. She has worked as a clinical lead, deputy manager for many large companies striving to provide quality care for all.

Rebecca Came to work for Wemyss Lodge in 2013 where she furthered skills and shared her own knowledge with the current nursing team.
Rebecca was passionate about her role and the care and respect Clients received with high quality care.
Rebecca has a good understanding of what CQC require and strives to ensure all clinicians are working on or towards that standard. Rebecca has a passion for elderly care and will work to ensure that all clients receive good patient care while promoting compassion, empathy and dignity within all aspects of person-centred care.

The Team is led by our General Manager, Teresa Fisher. Teresa is a Registered Mental Health Nurse.

Rebecca Stockley is the Clinical Manager and is a registered LD nurse. Rebecca has worked at Wemyss Lodge since 2013.

Our team of nurses lead our Care Practitioners, Senior Carers and Carers.

We have expert nurses who are experienced in brain injury, epilepsy, mental health, learning disabilities, complex care and acute medicine.

Wemyss Lodge also have an in-house Training Co-Ordinator and Training Administrator.
