Continuity of Care
We are responsive to our residents needs and wishes at each care intervention. We ensure we monitor and evaluate any changes in our residents care and support needs, promoting independence and providing person centred care. Should a resident needs change and they require increased care support, we offer a continuation of care service with an opportunity to transfer to our complex care support, Stratton Wing, in partnership with the resident and their multidisciplinary team.
We are one of the few homes in Swindon who are able to provide continuity of care under one roof for complex mental health needs.
Staff
The Team is led by our General Manager, Teresa Fisher. Teresa is a Registered Mental Health Nurse.
Rebecca Stockley is the Clinical Manager and is a registered LD nurse. Rebecca has worked at Wemyss Lodge since 2013.
Our team of nurses lead our Care Practitioners, Senior Carers and Carers.
We have expert nurses who are experienced in brain injury, epilepsy, mental health, learning disabilities, complex care and acute medicine.
Our admin team consists of HR Co-Ordinator, Finance Co-Ordinator and PA to the General Manager.
The Housekeeping and Maintenance staff are led by our Facilities Co-Ordinator.
We have two chefs who are supported by a team of kitchen assistants.
Wemyss Lodge also have an in-house Training Co-Ordinator and Training Administrator.
